Handle with love & care

These shoes have been handmade by an Italian family of craftsmen with the utmost attention. As such each and every shoe is individual and comes complete with its own character. As the natural leather used is of the highest quality, there will inevitably be discernable variations in the grain, with wrinkles and hues as part of the package. Rather than flaws, these are the features which make your shoes unique.

In order to best protect your handmade shoes, may we recommend always storing them carefully in their delicate cotton bags provided when not worn or when travelling. Since the natural leather has not been waterproofed, avoid any contact with water, grease or alcohol. To remove a water stain, immediately dry it gently with a white cloth. A shoe tree will also help the supple leather maintain its shape and as with all leather, ensure you keep your shoes out of direct sunlight, heat and humidity.

Should your shoe sustain liquid or colour damage, ensure you consult a professional as soon as possible. Each pair of shoes comes with spare heel caps, so don’t be tempted to wear them down to the pin—you will ruin them! Equally, don’t decide to run through cobbled streets or mingle on a muddy lawn—these are handmade shoes which require terra firma.
